How to buy online
UK and International orders welcome!
As you are looking through the site and you decide to buy some of our items, just click on the Add to basket button next to the description of that item. This will take you to a new screen with our cart system. You can return to do more browsing or shopping and then add or remove items later. The postage charge accumulates as you add items so that you can see the final cost. No VAT or handling charges are added until checkout.
To complete your order and purchase, proceed to checkout. To do this, click one of the checkout links in the left hand menu, or click the view basket link at the top right of the green page header.
Wherever in the world you live, you can make payment for products direct from this website using PayPal, credit card, debit card or echeck. We have a PayPal cart system that offers you a choice. If you have a PayPal account and want to use that, follow the instructions after opting to check out. If you would prefer to pay by a card, follow that option.
The cart system is completely secure; all payments are processed through PayPal and we do not have access to your payment details.
Bulk orders and postage discounts
We have three postage bands - 0-£10, £10 - £25, £25 - £75. Postage is at a cheaper rate as you buy more items BUT if you want to place a large order, please email us at with the items you want.
We can offer a substantial postage discount for orders over £25.00 (mixed items) or for batches of the same item (minimum 10). We will send you a PayPal invoice, which you can pay with PayPal or by debit card or credit card, as above.
If you are a family history society, a record office, museum or other retail outlet with a shop and want to buy items for resale, please contact Mike to discuss wholesale discounts, payment and delivery. Minimum order quantity: 10 identical items.
Ordering by post - UK only
If you live in the UK, you may also order any of our products by post using the links to the order form below. Please email us at if you have any queries. We regret we cannot accept orders sent by post from overseas as we are unable to cash overseas cheques. If you are overseas, please use our online order system to pay by debit card, credit card or PayPal.
Click on the links below to open the order-by-post form in a new window. You can type your order into the Microsoft Word document before printing, or print the form and fill in using a pen. To use the pdf file for printing and filling in, you need to have Acrobat Reader Version 7 installed on your computer.
